The Arch of Triumph, located at the bottom of Moranbong Hill in Pyongyang, was unveiled on April 1982, on the the 70th birthday of the leader Kim Il Sung. The 60m-high structure has '1925-1945' carved on each of the pillars, which marks the years in which Kim Il Sung fought to liberate the DPRK from Japanese colonial rule.

Revolutionary Martyrs’ Cemetery

The Revolutionary Martyrs’ Cemetery is located on Mt. Taesong, just outside of Pyongyang. It was built in 1975 with dozens of bronze busts in memory of revolutionaries who fought for the freedom and independence of the country

Korean Revolution Museum

The Korean Revolution Museum, located on Mansu Hill, was founded in August 1948, a month before the foundation of DPRK. The museum (seen here behind the Mansudae Grand Monument) displays the history of anti-Japanese revolutionary Armed Struggle, giving a clear explanation about the Pochonbo Battle (June 4th, 1937), which was a key event in the war against the Japanese.
